‘A Conversation With’
‘It is our language that gives us our conception of reality. There is not a uniform structure to language, but it has various forms that exhibit only loose interconnections’.
Wittgenstein, Tractatus logico- philosophicus
Language is seen as a natural human phenomenon and it is within this need to communicate that the drawings exhibited originated. Through strict limitations in creation, these drawings aim at illustrating such ‘loose interconnections’.
The drawings were created during a conversation to help communicate an idea. Each of the original drawings was produced by a different person hence the title of each work begins ‘A conversation with’.
Each drawing was enlarged to scale to the height of 1.5m
